Privacy Policy

Effective date:
This Privacy Policy describes how Supernot handles information. In short: Supernot is offline-first and stores your notes locally on your device.

Summary

Supernot does not require account creation, does not use cloud sync, and does not sell personal information. Notes remain on your device unless you choose to delete them.

1. Who we are

Supernot is a note-taking application designed to work without an internet connection.

2. Information we collect

We do not collect personal information through the app.

  • Notes content: Stored locally on your device using local storage.
  • No account data: No registration, login, or authentication.
  • No cloud data: No synchronization to external servers.
  • No required analytics: The app is designed to function without sending your note data anywhere.

If you contact us outside the app (for example by email), you may share information voluntarily. That information is used only to respond to your request.

3. How your data is stored

Supernot uses an offline-first architecture and stores data locally on your device (for example using AsyncStorage on supported platforms). Your notes remain available even if you are offline.

  • Your notes are saved locally on the device where you created them.
  • Deleting a note removes it from the local store on that device.
  • Using “Clear all data” deletes locally stored note data after confirmation.

4. Sharing of information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Because Supernot is designed for local storage, we generally do not have access to your note content.

5. Third-party services

Supernot is available through the Google Play Store. The Play Store may collect information as part of its standard operations. Please refer to Google’s policies for details on their data handling.

This Privacy Policy applies to Supernot’s handling of information. It does not control third-party platforms or services.

6. Security

We take reasonable measures to keep the app stable and to minimize unnecessary data exposure. However, no method of storage is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and any backups you create.

7. Children’s privacy

Supernot is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can address it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date on this page. Continued use of Supernot after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
